For most names, ask your current registrar to unlock the domain and issue the authorisation code (sometimes called EPP).

How a transfer works
Pay first, then we submit it
The name must already be registered. Unlock it with your current registrar, then enter the authorisation code here — unless it is a .uk name, in which case you will change the IPS TAG to PDR-IN.
UK names (.uk / .co.uk)
Nominet transfers do not use an EPP code. After you add the transfer, change the IPS TAG at your current registrar to PDR-IN.
Check and pay
We confirm the name is already registered, then you pay any transfer fee from our catalogue. .uk tag changes are usually free.
Approve the move
After payment we submit the transfer. You may still need to approve an email from the registry, or wait for Nominet to process the TAG change.
